WINNSBORO — The fifth-graders and sixth-graders of Richard Winn Academy decided to help out our furry, four-legged friends. These two classes collected dry and canned dog and cat food for about two weeks. When they had enough to share with the many dogs and cats without homes, Terry Williams with Fairfield Animal Rescue was asked to stop by so the students could present her with this much needed food. Linda Grant, Jason Haltiwanger and everyone at Richard Winn would like to thank the fifth-graders and sixth-graders for going that extra mile and helping those in need.
