FAIRFIELD COUNTY — The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Fairfield County will host its annual kick off at 6 p.m. Jan 24 at First Church of the Nazarene.

The event will include a spaghetti dinner with salad, drink, and dessert for $5 per person. The dinner is free for survivors, but they must RSVP for the event.

During the event, there will be a presentation on the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3), a study sponsored by the American Cancer Society’s Epidemiology Research Program that is inviting men and women between the ages of 30 and 65 years who have no personal history of cancer to be apart of a research study.

The ultimate goal is to enroll at least 300,000 adults from various racial and ethnic backgrounds from across the United States.

Call Stacey Pearson at 633-6615, Lana Dodson at 635-4607 or visit the website www.relayforlife.org/fairfieldcosc for more information.
