RIDGEWAY — Fairfield County sheriff’s deputies believe three burglaries in the Ridgeway area might be connected.

One breaking and entering occurred off Park Road. Jewelry and jewelry boxes valued at more than $8,000 were stolen. The incident was reported at 12:55 p.m. Feb. 13.

Another breaking and entering incident occurred Feb. 13 off Longtown Road. In that incident, a door was kicked in but nothing was reported missing. The incident was reported about 2 p.m.

That same day, another incident took place at 5:21 p.m. on Broom Mill Road. Money and a purse were among the items stolen.

Capt. Brad Douglas with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department said they believe the three incidents might be connected due to the time frame and the geographic location.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department at 635-4141.
