WINNSBORO — Fairfield Central High School held a press conference Feb. 6 where two of their senior football players made decisions that will affect the rest of their lives. Raheem McDaniel and Devonta Foster took part in National Signing Day, the first day a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent for college football.

They both signed letters of intent to play football for Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kan. Coffeyville Community College coaching staff has helped to improve the grade point average of the team from 2.19 to 2.77. McDainel and Foster will trade their Griffin jerseys in for Red Raven jerseys in the fall.
