FAIRFIELD COUNTY — The Cofield recital was held Dec. 21, 2012, at Union Baptist Church. The following students were in part one of the recital and sang the following songs:
Tyler Lindsey — “Christmas Cheer”
Morris W. Morgan — “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night”
Kaitlin Bethea — “Jingle Bells”
Celebrity Davis — “Away in a Manger”
Courtne Scoot — “O Come All Ye Faithful”
Justin Morton — “Go Tell it on the Mountain”
Dylan Williams — “Jingle Bells”
Kennedy Taylor — “We Three Kings” and “Joy to the World”
Tayelor Morgan — “Silver Bells”
Chandler McIntosh — “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”
Asahia Scoot sang “Russian Dance” and Julia Egbuka sang “March and Arabian Dance” in part two of the recital.
The following students were in part three of the recital and sang the following songs:
Jordan Wolfe — “Silent Night”
Kyra Bethea — “Let it Snow, Let it Snow” and “O Christmas Tree”
Kierra Titus — “Do You Hear What I hear?” and “Go Tell it on the Mountain”
Madison Tucker — “Silver Bells”
Maya Jones — “Frosty the Snowman”
Ashleigh Wolfe — “Angels We have Heard on High”
Sifa Masolwa — “O Holy Night”
Cory Scott — “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire” (vocal solo) and “Ukranian Bell Carol” (piano solo)
The mistresses of ceremony were Debra Masolwa and Dana Tucker. Virginia R. Cofield gave the acknowledgements and announcements. The reception included Sonja McIntosh, Velencia Norton, Karen Williams, Rena Swiggins, Dr. O’Tasha Morgan, Darlene Zinnerman-Bethea, Layton Cofield Jr. and Elease Sutton. Gail B. Jabber and Mary Lee Hendrix were thanked for doing the invitations, programs and photography.
