WINNSBORO — Gloria Kellerhaus with the Catawba Regional Fresh Food Coalition was the guest speaker at a recent Rotary meeting. Kellerhaus was presented by Rotarian Terry Vickers.

The Catawba Regional Fresh Food Coalition is a network of agricultural organizations and agencies, farmers and ranchers, community non-profits, businesses and individuals.

The purpose of the Coalition is to facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration among all the sectors of our community that care about local agriculture and local food production. It serves five counties in north central South Carolina along the Catawba and Board Rivers including Chester, Fairfield, Lancaster, Union and York.

Kellerhaus described ways to develop and grow an agri-business as a means to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables. Through this program, Rotarians learned more about what we eat and how it can be provided.
