GREAT FALLS

Robert Perry, Jr., 59, of 326 Peay Bridge Road, was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was then transported to the Fairfield County Detention Center.

Dec. 29

An assault took place at the Purity Lodge.

Dec. 30

A mailbox was shot off Smallwood Road.

Dec. 31

A burglary was reported off South Bellfield Road. A flat screen television was stolen from a residence.

Jan. 1

Darius S. Gaither, 24, of 1092 Longleaf Road, was charged with narcotics violations for possession of marijuana after he was stopped at a traffic safety checkpoint.

WINNSBORO

Dec. 29

A patron pulled out a pistol and pointed it at another patron in a bar off Rion Road.

Dec. 30

An attempted break-in was reported off Alder Road.

A 2004 Cadillac was stolen off Doty Road and later found set on fire on Brown’s Bridge Road.

A simple assault was reported off Superfan Lane.

Jan. 1

Harassing phone calls were reported off Peach Road.

Breaking and entering was reported off Gunsite Road. Firearms and televisions were stolen.

Jan. 2

An attempted break-in occurred off Kincaid Bridge Road.

Larceny of a stove was reported off Willow Street.

Larceny of an air conditioning unit occurred at a mobile home on S.C. 34.
