RIDGEWAY – Quavez Daniel, a fifth-grade student at Geiger Elementary School, is the Academic Student of the Week for the Fairfield County School District.
Daniel was chosen because he is an honor student and scored exemplary in all areas of Palmetto Achievement State Standards testing.
His favorite subject is science because he likes learning about space and the planets.
He is a member of the Geiger Elementary Beta Club, plays the violin, plays baseball and plays football for several local teams.
When he grows up, he wants to become a real estate agent.
