WINNSBORO — A large crowd of alumni and supporters turned out for the homecoming game at Richard Winn Academy Friday night.
The crowning of the homecoming queen capped off a week filled with activities.
The middle school football team played on Thursday night. Wednesday night school supporters enjoyed a bonfire.
Friday a special end-of-the-school-day pep rally was held to get folks excited about being a part of traditions at Richard Winn.
At halftime of the varsity football game, Carson Justice was awarded the 2012 homecoming queen.
Madison Spang was awarded football team sweetheart, an award voted on by members of the football team each year.
The girls left the field in style in a Toyota convertible after they took a victory lap around the field in the car.
