A Fairfield County Sheriff’s officer and three officers from the Department of Juvenile Justice located a 15-year-old male who was wanted for violating his probation.

On Sept. 6 when officers arrived at the home of Shantese Quanshay Crim, 19, of 61 Winnsboro Arms Drive Apartment 3-B, they had reason to believe the juvenile was hiding out there.

Crim consented to a physical search of the apartment and claimed to have not seen the juvenile all day. According to the incident report, she told investigators that she had not seen him for several days.

Upon further search of the apartment officers discovered the juvenile was intentionally stored away in the sofa on which Crim was seated.

Crim was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
