The Olde English District Commission in partnership with the Fairfield County Arts Council will hold an Open Your Art to the World workshop Thursday from 6 p.m.-7:30 pm at the Winnsboro Women’s Club located at 102 South Vanderhorst St., Winnsboro.
This is the fifth in a series of five workshops to discuss opportunities for artists, artisans, crafters and food entrepreneurs to expand their retail and e-commerce potential.
Workshops are open to artists, artisans, crafters, quilters and food entrepreneurs located in Chester, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lancaster and York Counties.
The workshops will discuss the opportunity for artists, crafters and food entrepreneurs to expand their retail and web-based outlets through working with OED.
The workshops also will provide practical information on e-commerce sales.
OED received a grant from US Department of Agriculture to design a catalog website to provide local artists, artisans and food entrepreneurs an opportunity to sell online.
The grant also calls for providing basic e-commerce training workshops.
The workshop fee will be applied to a one-year basic membership with the Fairfield County Arts Council.
Space is limited, so early registration is suggested.
Other workshops were held in Chester, Kershaw, Lancaster and York Counties.
