Former Fairfield County coroner Joe Silvia was honored by some of the organizations he has served with for his over 30 years of dedicated service, Pictured: Silvia shows the plaques of appreciation he received from Fairfield County Council for his 31 years of dedicated service as Fairfield County Coroner, the plaque of appreciation he received from the South Carolina Coroner’s Association for the same dedicated service to the citizens of Fairfield County and the plaque he received from the Fairfield County Rescue Squad as 2008 Volunteer of the Year.
