JENKINSVILLE — Western Fairfield County residents have another option for healthcare after a new Cooperative Health Center opened its doors last week.Local elected officials, county representatives and healthcare staff welcomed the Lake Monticello Family Practice with a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday.Located at 9017 S.C. 215 South in Jenkinsville, the new primary care facility hosted the opening ceremony after breaking ground at the site in September 2013.Working as a part of the Cooperative Health Centers network, the Lake Monticello Family Practice was a welcomed addition to Western Fairfield.
