Coroner called to Thursday wreck

The coroner was called around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after a wreck on Highway 76 in the Kinards area.

The wreck has the road shut down and detours were being made around the Gable Hill Lane area near Riser Road and Wise’s barbecue restaurant. Traffic was also detoured in Laurens County.

Also a helicopter had been called to the area.

Details of the wreck are not available.
