The first annual Ruth S. Pugh Foundation was held at the Newberry Country Club on May 16. The proceeds from the tournament will be used to support the Pugh Foundation for people with disabilities and special needs living in Newberry County.
Team Komatsu was one of the many sponsors for the tournament.
The first place team at the Ruth S. Pugh Foundation Golf Tournament held on May 16 were Bill Braswell, Mark Henderson, Mack Bell, Tommy Suber and Freddie Harmon
The second place team: Rudie Tarver, Bill Floyd, David Barrineau, and Bob Hartness.
The third place honors went to The Founder’s Credit Union Team of Gene Norris, Mike Bragg, Lloyd Veil, and Matt Gross.
A hole in one car give a way sponsored by Stokes-Trainor was one of the many gifts during the tournament. Matthew Coffey watches the hole to see if anyone can win the car.
