The Fairfield County Veterans Affairs Office will be hosting a Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, April 19 at the Old National Guard Armory from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event will present various vendors from around the county as well as the VA Hospital to inform our veteran and general public as to the services they offer. Each booth has been instructed to offer some sort of interactive activity, such has free blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol or vision screenings. Again, these are free of charge. Door prizes will also be given away at the event by the Veterans Affairs staff and through participating vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about the many resources offered to you throughout the county and surrounding areas.
