Despite changes in editorial staff the Winnsboro Herald Independent is going to remain your local news paper. The paper will also be celebrating customer appreciation day Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“We are your source of local news and we are here to stay,” said publisher Denny Koenders.
During customer appreciation day we will give out free hot dogs, chips and drinks to each customer coming in while supplies last.
The paper’s staff encourages residents to let us know about news and events and to submit items to us.
We are also asking for community members to submit yards for us to choose a yard of the week.
