WINNSBORO — Fairfield County Relay for Life has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. May 24 at the Fairfield Central High School football field as was originally planned. Event organizer Stacy Pearson said the event will be held rain or shine, provided there is no threat of severe weather such as the one Fairfield County experienced on April 19. Teams are encouraged to continue to raise money and build momentum as the event approaches and the community gathers in the fight against cancer, memorializes lost loved ones and celebrates birthdays with cancer survivors.
