WINNSBORO — Winnsboro Town Council moved swiftly through their meeting on Tuesday with little to vote on other than the approval of minutes.
Once that action was taken, council went into executive session to discuss contractual matters dealing with water.
After a rather lengthy closed executive session the meeting was opened back to the public with one motion coming out of the session.
That motion was to allow Town Manager Don Wood to write a conflict of interest waver agreement letter and present it to the Pope Zeigler Law Firm.
This would allow the firm to work with the charter committee that is working to form the water authority.
The next town council meeting is scheduled for Oct. 16.
