WINNSBORO — On Wednesday morning, video poker machines were seized at a location off of Columbia Highway in Winnsboro. According to Captain Brad Douglas with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department, it appears unlikely any arrests will take place from this incident because the video poker machines were seized as part of a SLED program whereby citations are issued to violators rather than arrests being made. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department said they learned of the machines from concerned citizens who made complaints.
