Precinct reorganization help is needed

Your help is urgently needed to restore conservative principals to our government. The Fairfield County GOP is a conservative group trying our best to build a grass roots conservative movement to help bring fiscal sanity and moral direction back to government.

We hold reorganization meetings every two years as part of this process, so please bring your principals and concerns to this meeting. You can observe and or participate at whatever level you are comfortable with. Get involved, help determine the direction of our future and take our country back. This is why your involvement in precinct reorganization is so critical – we need to maintain our important status as a conservative hot-bed of success and innovation.

Precinct meetings have helped us to achieve Republican success in our state. Precinct reorganization allows anyone who is interested to get involved at the most local of levels in our party. In precinct reorganization, you simply show up at the Fairfield County Republican County reorganization meeting and you elect a precinct committeeman and precinct president. In most cases, everyone who attends these meetings will also be eligible as a delegate to the county convention.

Although our party is involved in many different areas of campaigning and governing, our party ultimately exists because of the activism and devotion of our grassroots. To become a part of this important process: 1. Make plans to attend your precinct meeting and bring as many of your Republican neighbors with you. 2. Run for delegate (and attend) to your county convention, and plan on running for delegate at the State Convention.

We are proud to be “red” in South Carolina, but we cannot rest on our laurels. Make sure to be involved in this year’s precinct reorganization. If you have any questions about reorganization, please email fairfieldcountygop@gmail.com or call me at 803-361-1228.

Kevin Thomas

Chairman, Fairfield County Republican Party

Vice Chairman, 5th Congressional District Republican Party

Yet no mention of the date and location to come and participate. Not everyone has internet access to e-ail, and many folks would feel uncomfortable calling a stranger..
