Lindsey Phillips Hamilton of Winnsboro and Forrest Elliot Poston of Columbia were united in marriage on March 3, 2012 at Stephen Greene Baptist Church in Winnsboro. Pastor Randy Knechtel of Vive Church in Columbia officiated the four o’clock ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Richard Ingle Jr. of Winnsboro, and was escorted by her father. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lindsey Edenfield, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Levern Wright, all of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Anne Phillips Hamilton of Greenville, S.C. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Van Poston of Pamplico, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Robert “Clair” Fennell, the late Mrs. Joyce P. Fennell, the late Ms. Georgia M. Hanna, all of Prospect, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Forest “Tom” Poston of Hannah.

The bride is a graduate of Midlands Technical College with an associates degree in nursing, and currently works as an RN in Ridgeway. The groom is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science and a minor in history, and currently works for Hawthorne DME in Columbia.

Mrs. Brandi Medlin Dukes served as matron of honor. Maid of honor was Ms. Jill Marie Wagers. Bridesmaids were Ms. Mary Gray Bunting, Ms. Caroline Rose Bryson and Miss Avery Grace Ingle, cousin of the bride. Miss Kammie Grace Hanna, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl. Mr. Ronald Van Poston, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Brenton Van Poston, brother of the groom, Mr. Ryan O’Neil Poston, brother of the groom, Mr. Jonathon D. Gonzalez and Mr. John Taylor Ingle, brother of the bride. Master Randall Eyan Poston, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer. Mr. Michael Kimble, pianist, provided music for the ceremony and Mr. Elliot Poston was soloist.

A reception immediately followed the ceremony at Vive Church with music and entertainment provided by Mr. Chuck Hill and Mr. Matthew Hunt. After honeymooning in Hawaii, the couple will reside in Columbia.
