The Fairfield Middle School Lady Griffins squared off against the Rebels of Mid-Carolina Middle School on Monday.
MCMS came out on top in both games.
The Rebels won the first contest 25-20 and the second one 25-19.
The Rebels played Newberry High School in the second match of the afternoon, losing in two games to the Lady Bulldogs. The matches were tri-matches and two out of three wins were required to win the contest.
