WINNSBORO — Funeral Services for Mrs. Jessie Lee Dennis Branham, 86, of 118 Fairview Road, Winnsboro were held 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Nelson’s Funeral Home Chapel , 270 N. Dogwood Ave., Ridgeway. The family received friends from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Branham, formerly of Lexington, N.C. was born on April 9, 1926 to the late Jesse F. Dennis and Mary Maude Manus. She was married to the late James Branham for 42 years.

Mrs. Branham lived in Winnsboro, South Carolina for a number of years where she was a member of Rockton Baptist Church. She worked at both Uniroyal and Charm manufacturing plants.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Rachel B. Clowney; one granddaughter, Kimberly S. Johns; two grandsons, Bentley and Joshua Johns, two sisters, Ruby Klontz and Betty Owens of N.C.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Amy (Brian) Cooper; two step-granddaughters, Adrianne Knuckles and Samantha Cooper; a special niece, Denise Lockey; extended family and friend, Mr. George Clowney and Mr. Morgan Parker; and host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by five sisters, two brothers, one son-in-law, Russell Clowney, one grandson, Scott Singleton, and one great-grandson, William S. Johns.

Nelson’s Funeral Home of Ridgeway was in charge of arrangements.
