WINNSBORO — The Herald Independent will kick off a new series titled “A Day in the Life” in this Friday’s edition.
The series will feature stories about different careers and jobs in which The Herald reporters will spend time getting to know the ins and outs of jobs found throughout Fairfield County.
Each story will give readers a chance to learn about the people in jobs that directly and indirectly affect their lives.
Staff writer Shamieka B. Sims joined an officer with the Winnsboro Department of Public Safety for a ride-along this past weekend and then sat down for an interview with Chief Freddie J. Lorick Sr.
The story will kick off the series in this Friday’s edition of The Herald Independent.
