Palmetto Health is bringing the Mobile Mammography Unit to Breath of Life Lutheran Church and Life Center as part of the Life Center's Health and Wholeness mission to the community. The big pink bus makes quite an appearance when it pulls into a parking lot, but more than that, it makes a huge impact on a community to be able to offer free mammography testing to uninsured or underinsured women. Even qualified women with insurance may call for an appointment and the unit will cover co-pays, deductibles and out of pocket expenses thanks to a grant they received.
