The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests:

— Harry Lansing Ashford, 50, of 2429 Lansing in Winnsboro was arrested Dec. 23 and charged with third-degree assault and battery. According to the incident report, deputies responded to a domestic dispute and witnessed Ashford shove the victim as she attempted to remove her belongings from the premises.

— William Tyrone Gibbes, 44, of 10 Ramble Drive in Winnsboro, was arrested Dec. 24 for disorderly conduct and placed under investigative detention for a criminal domestic violence incident. Deputies responded at 11:23 p.m. to S.C. 200 to an argument at the location. The victim told them Gibbes had marked on her chest, legs and arms from a physical altercation on Dec. 21 and hit her in the face on Dec. 24. Deputies observed a cut over her eye and marks on her face.

— Elizabeth Rachael Guinyard-Martin, 42, of 604 Hudson St. in Winnsboro, was arrested Dec. 26 and charged with breach of peace. According to the incident report, Guinyard-Martin was cursing outside the residence and continued to scream, yell and curse rather than cooperate with law enforcement.

— Deanne Denise Trapp, 24, of 1014 Rion Road in Winnsboro, was arrested Dec 26 and charged with malicious injury to personal property. According to the report, Trapp admitted doing damage to the residence. Officers responded to a domestic dispute and saw a broken kerosene heater, X-box and a mirror and kitchen table turned over.

— Troy Samuel Haney Jr., 36, of 182 Cherry Road, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged with criminal domestic violence second degree. According to the incident report, the victim said Haney punched her in the ear and in the face with a closed fist. Medical examination showed the victim had a ruptured ear drum and had swelling over her right eye. According to the incident report when deputies spoke with Haney about the incident he continuously changed the story of the events that occurred.

— A warrant was issued for Joe Nathan Jamison, 42, of 2167 Mood Harris Road, Ridgeway for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. According to the incident report the victim stated Jamison attempted to stab him in the abdomen and upper chest during an argument over a woman. The victim said he was cut as he attempted to disarm the subject and that he had to fight to free himself from Jamison, who he said was highly intoxicated. The victim, Kelvin Johnson, 35, of 118 Angle Drive in Ridgeway, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

— A warrant was issued for Jeremy Jermaine Jones, 20, of 128 Maple St., for first degree criminal domestic violence after a Dec. 26 incident. According to the victim the subject became angry and grabbed her around the throat, choking her and then repeatedly hit her in the head and shoved her into the wall. Officers observed bruising and injuries on the victim.

— A warrant was issued for Norman Thompson Jr., 28, of 337 Golf Course Road, Winnsboro, for burglary/breaking and entering and for simple assault following a Dec. 27 incident. According to the incident report, the victim said he had a verbal altercation which escalated and led to Thompson shouldering his way into the house. Once inside the house a second victim said Thompson pulled a knife and threatened to kill. Deputies searched for the offender who left on foot wearing brown pants and a burgundy shirt.

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following incidents:

— A burglary/breaking and entering was reported Dec. 23 on Park Road. The door was kicked open and two flat screen televisions were stolen along with other electronics.

— Vandalism was reported Dec. 27 on Old Camden Road. The complainant said profanity had been sprayed in red all over the property including the mailbox, fence, two garage doors, the siding in the front and the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet C1500.

— Deputies responded Dec. 29 to a Weldon Lane residence in Ridgeway to a report of gunshots fired. A gold or silver vehicle was reported leaving at a high rate of speed. Deputies learned of a gunshot victim at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and went to investigate. The victim was shot in the left arm just below the shoulder and stated he was shot in the driveway by another Weldon Lane resident.

— Deputies responded Dec. 29 to a domestic dispute on Nickey Road in Great Falls where the couple said the problem stemmed from the husband’s abuse of pain medications. The husband said he wanted help and the couple was advised to meet with his doctor to pursue treatment options.

— Deputies responded Dec. 29 to a simple assault at Winnfield West Apartments where the offender allegedly cursed at the victim before spitting in the victim’s face.
