WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Margaret Adams Moseley, 90, will be held at 2 p.m. on February 19, 2014 at Pope Funeral Home, 521 S. Congress Street in Winnsboro, with burial in Royal Pines Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moseley passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the Lowman Home in White Rock, S. C. Mrs. Moseley was born in Lancaster County on January 24, 1924. She was the daughter of the late William Brice Adams and Macie Wilson Adams of Lancaster. She was retired from Uniroyal with 42 years of service also she was a member of Steven Greene Baptist Church. Mrs. Moseley was married on November 26, 1943 to the late Hugh Dorsey Moseley of Winnsboro for 26 years.
She is survived by her son Hugh Dorsey Moseley Jr. (Ginny) of Ninety-Six (Lake Greenwood). She was preceded in death by her only daughter Rusha Darlene Moseley Martin and husband Donald Olin Martin of Columbia. Also surviving Mrs. Moseley are 5 grandchildren , Gregg Adam Martin (Kay) or Columbia, Michael Julian Martin (Nancy) of Ninety Six, Jennifer Moseley Saunders (Scott) of Simpsonville; Dorsey Moseley of Greenwood and Brice Adams Moseley of Ninety Six; seven great-grandchildren, Chase Martin, Caroline Martin, Hayes Martin, Katherine Saunders, Benjamin Saunders, William Saunders and Mary Brice Saunders; special nephews and nieces, Brian and Sharon Reynolds and Lewis (Buddy) and Joyce Haigler. She was also preceded in death by her 5 sisters, Sadie A. Hinson, Bessie A. Evans, Lessie A. Broughton, June A. Tyson, Blanche A. McManus, and 3 brothers Claude, Ed, and Stafford Adams, and one granddaughter, Dana Lynn Martin.
She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Memorials may be sent in Mrs. Moseley’s memory to Stephen Greene Baptist Church.
