RIDGEWAY – The Magnolia Lodge, 631 Longtown Road in Ridgeway, will present The Larry Keel Experience on July 12. The Mustache Brothers will open the show.
Located in Ridgeway, The Magnolia Lodge is a celebration of food art and nature. A working plantation since 1854, the farm still hosts a range of livestock and crops year round, providing a unique and earthy experience for guests. Under the direction of its owner and local arts contributor Tom Hall, the Lodge is now focusing on bringing music and other arts of the highest level to Fairfield County.
The Larry Keel Experience will be the second musical event to be held at the Lodge, but will be far from the last. Larry Keel is described by some reviewers as the most powerful, innovative and all-out exhilarating acoustic flatpicking guitarist performing today.
Keel regularly collaborates with JamBand and Rock giants Yonder Mountain String Band, Keller Williams, Jorma Kaukonen, David Nelson, Little Feat, Rebirth Brass Band, Dirty Dozen Brass, Railroad Earth, members of String Cheese Incident and Leftover Salmon, amongst others. The Larry Keel Experience consists of Larry, his wife Jenny Keel on bass and Will Lee on banjo.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. The Mustache Brothers perform at 7 p.m. followed by The Larry Keel Experience at 8:30 p.m. The show is for all ages. Tickets are available for pre-sale online at www.eventbrite.com/e/the-larry-keel-experience- tickets-11991461785?aff=es2.
