WINNSBORO — The Go Hard Riders Motorcycle Club took in more than 75 entries forms for a chance to win a new A/C window air-conditioning unit.

This year’s winner was Donnell Lawhorn of Ridgeway. The winning ticket was drawn by one of the club’s sponsors, Eddie Nelson, during Nelson’s Family and Friends Appreciation Day held on Aug. 8.

This is the third year the club has helped to beat the heat. There was no purchase necessary. Entries must be a Fairfield County resident with at least one child, or disabled or retired to enter, said Linda Tucker, one of the founders of the group.

The Go Hard Riders Motorcycle Club was founded in 2011 by Willie (BoBo) Johnson and Tucker, both of Ridgeway.
