WINNSBORO — The Winnsboro Woman’s Club awarded its 2015 Carolyn McMaster Lyles/Winnsboro Woman’s Club Scholarships to Hannah Silvia and Jourdan Brooks.

Silvia,a graduate of Richard Winn Academy, will attend Charleston Southern University and Brooks, a graduate of Fairfield Central High School, will attend the University of South Carolina-Upstate. The scholarships were announced at graduation for RWA and Class Night at FCHS.

Silvia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Silvia of Winnsboro. Brooks is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Butler of Jenkinsville.

The scholarships are made possible in part by a grant from the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of South Carolina’s Progress Foundation and fundraising projects of the Winnsboro’s Woman’s Club. The Winnsboro Woman’s Club recently celebrated its 90th anniversary in serving Winnsboro and Fairfield County.
