Magical Storyteller Mark Daniel performs at the Fairfield County Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for its Summer Reading Children’s Morning Program.

June 24

• A Ladies Bridge Luncheon is held at Asbury Hall/Wesley Commons from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contract/Rubber bridge play begins at 10 a.m. Players sitting across from each other will be partners. After six hands, cards will be drawn to switch partners. A 30-minute lunch break at noon will include wine and dessert. Play ends at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person (sign-ups will be accepted in groups of four only) and is payable by cash or check. • A vigil in honor and remembrance of the shootings in Charleston is held at noon at Fortune Spring Park. The community is invited to attend.

June 25

• The Ag+Art Tour 2015 kicks off with jazz and barbecue on the Terrace Under the Oaks at Mission Ridge Retreat, 601 S. Congress St. in Winnsboro, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Jazz singer Eboni Ramm from Columbia performs. BBQ dinners are $10 each.

June 27-28

• Six Fairfield County locations are part of the Ag + Art Tour 2015. Special activities in Fairfield County include Raised-Bed Garden at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Congaree Mills grinding grits at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, and an Ice Cream Social at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tour sites in Fairfield County include Celtic Lane Farm, Ee-oh-lay Farm, Elder Farms, Fairfield County Farmers Market, The She Garden at the Painted Picket and Royal Greens. July 10

• The Town of Winnsboro presents Movies Under the Stars in downtown Winnsboro. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs on which to sit. Earth to Echo starts at 8:45 p.m.

Ongoing Events

Midlands Fatherhood Coalition invites all interested custodial/non-custodial fathers to attend orientation for enrollment into their program every Monday at 10 a.m. They assist with child support, visitation, parenting and relationship issues/concerns. Little Griffins basketball camp is held from June 29 to July 2 for players ages 8 to 12 to work with the JV and varsity teams and coaching staff to help build proper fundamentals. Registration is $40 per player and is due June 4. Late registration is $50. Tai Chi classes for adults are taught by Guo Guangwei of Midlands STEM Institute at First Baptist Church Gymnasium every Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Suggested donation is $1.
