Fairfield Middle School Improvement Council presented its first Parent of the Month award to Bernard and Pamela Boyd for September and October. Parents earn points each month for participating in activities and events such as Coffee Breaks with the Principal, parent/teacher conferences, field trips, sporting events, concerts, awards programs, School Improvement Council meetings, PTO meetings, Career Day, and many others. The Boyds were presented with a certificate and Wal-mart gift cards. Their daughter, Alyssa Boyd, is an eighth grade student at Fairfield Middle School.
