Town approves expenditures for water upgrade, building service

WINNSBORO — Town Council has unanimously passed Resolution 081914A, which allows a housing developer Langford Crossing, located on Langford Road in Blythewood, to add four more water taps and move into the next phase of construction.Winnsboro’s legal counsel on utilities, John Fantry, advised the town to approve the resolution.“We ask that you adopt this resolution so that the company can move forward with its development,” he stated.Council also approved the purchase of a stand by generator, up to $95,000, at a pump station in Blythewood following the recommendation of the finance committee.
