Man arrested on meth charges after deputies serve warrant

Thomas Joseph Wright, 33, of LaGrange was arrested in the 2700 block of Whitesville Road after deputies served active warrants through the TCSO Narcotics Division on suspicion of two counts of sale of methamphetamine, two counts of use of a communication device to facilitate a drug transaction, possession of methamphetamine, crossing a guard line with drugs, and items prohibited for possession by inmates. During the arrest, deputies allegedly found two bags of methamphetamine and a glass smoking device in his vehicle.


A man reported his storage unit located in the 1300 block of Hogansville Road was broken into. Items missing are a CD player/turntable set valued at $1,000, a edger valued at $50, a weed trimmer valued at $50, and golden tea pot set from Iraq valued at $400.

A woman reported while her car was at a repair ship in the 700 block of Hamilton Road, someone broke the back windshield and stole three fishing poles valued at $40 each, 40 DVD’s valued at $300, 20 VHS movies valued at $100 and two floral print picture frames valued at $10 each.

A man from the 600 block of Borton Street reported his 9mm handgun valued at $325 stolen.

A man from the 100 block of Alton Drive reported a bicycle valued at $300 was stolen from his carport.

A woman from the 700 block of Ridley Avenue reported a $50 patio chair stolen from her patio.
