Ridgeway’s 15th annual Pig on the Ridge

Patrons took time away from the barbecue to stop by arts and crafts vendors.

This family cook team calls themselves “Salt & Pepper.” Master chef Joe Scott, left, and chef Chaun Butler, right, handed out barbecue to hungry festival goers.

The Fire House Grill team took time to relax in their tent after selling out of barbecue in the first hour. Marshella Belton, Nancy McClurkin, Renee Barefoot, Steve Barefoot, Stan Klaus, Willie Gladden and Kennedy English.

Last year’s Pig on the Ridge champion “Blowin Smoke” sold out of barbecue in the first 15 minutes. Kristen Morris, left, pitmaster Robert Morriss, middle, and Kevin Sanders, right, were part of the cook team that participated in Pig on the Ridge for the second straight year.

The Cameron Cookers cook team renovated this old car into grilling and smoking machine.

People enjoyed viewing trucks like this one during the Classic Antique Car and Truck Show.

The crowd enjoyed live music on the main stage in front of the Century House.
